From basic to bold: this Spicy Bloody Mary cocktail bites back.
Ingredients:
- 2 oz vodka
- 4 oz tomato juice
- 1/2 oz fresh lemon juice
- 1/2 oz Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 tsp hot sauce (adjust according to your spice preference)
- Pinch of celery salt
- Pinch of freshly ground black pepper
- Ice cubes
- Rim: Burnt Bacon BBQ Rimmer (or chili powder and salt)
- Garnish: celery stalk, lemon or lime wedge, pickled green bean and okra, and bacon-wrapped Pepper Popper
Directions:
- In a mixing glass, combine vodka, tomato juice, fresh lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, celery salt, and black pepper.
- To make a spicy rim for your Spicy Bloody Mary cocktail, start by mixing equal parts of coarse salt and chili powder on a plate. Wet the rim of the glass with a lime or lemon wedge, then dip it into the salt and chili powder mixture, rotating to coat the rim evenly. This will add a delicious spicy kick to each sip of your cocktail.
- Fill the mixing glass with ice cubes and stir well to combine all the ingredients.
- Take a tall glass and fill it with ice cubes.
- Strain the Bloody Mary mixture into the glass.
- Garnish with a celery stalk, spicy pickled green beans and okra, and either a lemon or lime wedge. Really up your spice game with a bacon-wrapped Pepper Popper.
Give it a gentle stir to incorporate the flavors.
