Serve ’em up hot with the Triple Dips for a winning combination!
Ingredients:
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 2 cups sliced pickles
- Vegetable oil, for frying
Directions
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper.
- Pour the buttermilk into a separate bowl.
- Dip the sliced pickles into the buttermilk, then coat them in the flour mixture, making sure they are completely covered.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large pot until it reaches 350.
- Fry the pickles in batches until they are golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per batch.
- Use a slotted spoon to remove the pickles from the oil and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain the excess oil.
- Serve the fried pickles hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
